Fishers are the ultimate stewards of the ocean and a crucial stakeholder of the GFCM. We need these voices from the sea to guide our work and provide insights on how to best manage and conserve our marine resources. Their knowledge and experiences influence and shape the GFCM's strategy, actions and initiatives. Collaborating with fishers ensures that fisheries and marine resources are sustainable for future generations and years to come.
