How we get things done
The Plenary Assembly constitutes the decision making body of the Global Soil Partnership. It embraces all the GSP partners in a yearly meeting to review and prioritize GSP actions while facilitating a balanced regional decision-making process.
The ITPS is composed of 27 top soil experts representing all the regions of the world. The main function of the ITPS is to provide scientific and technical advice and guidance on global soil issues. The ITPS advocates for addressing sustainable soil management in the different sustainable development agendas.
The Healthy Soils Facility has been formulated in response to a specific request from the first meeting of the Plenary Assembly of the GSP. This Facility is meant to constitute a major “operational arm” of the GSP and is designed to align resource partners willing to join forces in support of the GSP.
