Fishing community members, government representatives, partner agencies and other stakeholders from Cabo Verde, Côte d’Ivoire, Ecuador, Indonesia, Peru and Senegal gathered to discuss how to consolidate the CFI legacy in terms of promoting sustainable coastal fisheries and ecosystems in the six countries, so that it may be mainstreamed into the activities of public and private entities and scaled out to reach more communities and geographical areas.
