The Sensitization Seminar for CountrySTAT Côte d' Ivoire took place at Hotel Malthus in Agboville from 12 to 14 August 2013.

Purpose of the seminar was to facilitate the dialogue between producers and users of data on agriculture, forestry and livestock, fisheries and environmental statistics. During the seminar, the participants discussed about their needs and how the data collection methods could respond to these needs.

The National Focal Point Mr Gabriel Kouame gave an overview on the CountrySTAT system and its features. He highlighted the progress of CountrySTAT in Côte d' Ivoire amongst others the meeting of the Technical Working Group, the official launch, and the upload of more than 100 tables to the National CountrySTAT website of Côte d' Ivoire. Furthermore, he presented a tool for publishing and archiving data from the Census of Operators and Agricultural Holdings.
