Access to information and communications technology (ICT) is among the challenges to sustainable food production and the agriculture sector in the Philippines, the United Nations’s Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) said on Tuesday.

The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), together with support from partners including the Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA), have developed the E-agriculture Strategy Guide. 

The objective of the session is to share initiatives on e-agriculture – the challenges and opportunities from public and private sector.
