Ingredients
onions: 1/2 29
beef: 500 6
pork: 250 6
margarine: 3/4 29
bread, bread-crumbs: 1 1/2 29
celery: 1/4 29
gherkin:
salt, table: 1 1/2 27
texturized vegetable protein (tvp): 500 6
pork, ham: 250 6
milk, powder: 1/2 29

Steps
1. Add ingredients together except the melted margarine and bread crumbs. Mix thoroughly and press into greased loaf pans.
2. Add the coarse bread crumbs to the melted margarine and pour over the loaf. Bake for 1 1/2 hour at 350 degrees F.
3. Let the meat loaf stand for 15 mn to cool then remove from loaf pans.
4. Garnish with carrots, parsley and tomatoes. Serve with rice or garlic bread.

TVP as Texturized Vegetable Protein is soybean processed as fiber or chunk and is used as food ingredient. Rehydration procedure: 1) Soak one part TVP to 3 parts water for at least 1 hour. Drain. 2) Boil 3 parts water, then add 1 part TVP. Simmer for 3 mn or until completely hydrated. Drain.
