International symposium: “Innovation systems for food security and nutrition: understanding the capacities needed”


Following up to the e-conference on "Innovation systems for food security and nutrition: understanding the capacities needed", the TAP Secretariat organized a half-day symposium to discuss the e-conference findings, and also discuss capacity development for improving human nutrition and health. The symposium paid particular attention on the crucial role of nutrition in agricultural innovation.

The symposium took place on Tuesday 21 June 2016, at the Sheik Zayed Center, FAO Headquarters (Rome, Italy), from 2pm to 5pm (local time).
