Facilitating capacity development for agricultural innovation

TAP network

Launched back in September 2012, the Tropical Agriculture Platform (TAP) has formed a coalition of more than 40 global, regional and national partners, coming from G20 and other countries. TAP partners are encouraged to contribute - and benefit from - the services of TAP.

TAP partners most recently met in Kigali, the capital of Rwanda, on 19-21 January 2016. On that occasion, they approved the Work Plan for 20016 and the Common Framework on Capacity Development for Agricultural Innovation Systems.

The TAP Secretariat welcomes the participation of:

  • Agricultural research, education and extension institutions
  • Private sector, civil society and farmers' organizations
  • Key international agency and regional fora
  • Development banks and funding agencies
