Le Dr. Ouayara Koné était vétérinaire et collaborateur actif du Réseau des Peuples Pasteurs du Sahel (RPPS), Mali. Il a passé la majeure partie de sa carrière comme officier au Ministère de l'Elevage et de la Pêche.
