MOU Signing Ceremony

Minister Sergelen Purev, Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry of the Government of Mongolia and FAO Director General José Graziano da Silva signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Rome today to re-affirm support for South-South Cooperation programmes. Mongolia and P.R. China have cooperatied on South-South Cooperation during the past four years with Chinese experts providing long-term and short-term technical support to Mongolia and Mongolian experts visiting institutions and markets in China. Mongolia looks forward to continued collaboration with FAO Member States under the SSC MOU to support the Strategic Objectives of FAO and National Sustainable Development Vision of the Government of Mongolia.
