crop-model to simulate yield response to water
The workshop was held in Bloemfontein (South Africa), from the 1 to the 5 March 2010, organized in collaboration with the University of the Free State (UFS).
121 people applied, covering 73 institutions and 27 countries. 35 participants were selected to take part in the training workshop, corresponding to 11 countries. Among the selected participants, 13 were from the hosting country (South Africa), while 22 came from the countries of the Region. Eight female participants were selected.
Participating countries: Angola, Botswana, Cameroon, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
