The Italian National Institute of Statistics (ISTAT) in collaboration with FAO organized the Seventh International Conference on Agricultural Statistics (ICAS VII) which took place in Rome on 26-28 October 2016. The Conference focused on bringing together research outcomes and best practices in the field of statistics, in support of the Sustainable Development Goals through timely, accurate and reliable agriculture statistics. 

Academia and Research Institutions who participated in the Conference included: Council for Agricultural Research and Economics, International Food Policy Research Institute, Milan University, Roma Tre University, La Sapienza University, Wageningen University & Research.
