International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA)
Main activities:
Since 2014 the partnership between FAO and the International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas supports climate-smart agricultural development, crop diversification and productivity, sustainable management of water and land resources, food security, and rural livelihoods in global drylands. Activities promote efficient and evidence-based food security information and knowledge exchange for effective decision support systems, farmer capacities to scale-up technologies and best practices related to water management, and knowledge exchanges which advocate for small-holder farms.
