NEW Programme Evaluation Report 2009

Evaluation in FAO aims to assist the Organization to:

• identify measures to improve FAO's relevance and effectiveness;
• draw lessons and strengthen institutional learning;
• provide performance accountability to Member Countries and other stakeholders.

This is done on the basis of the assessments of the usefulness and impact of FAO activities as well as of the sustainability of results.
