=ONLY IN FRENCH=
Sustainable cities and, more specifically, nature in the city, have been at the heart of the FFEM's strategy (the French Facility for Global Environmen) for the past 10 years, encompassing the challenges of biodiversity conservation, adaptation and the low-carbon transition of cities and territories with ever-increasing demographic density.

The anthropization of territories is contributing to the decline in biodiversity, land degradation and climate change. Rapid urbanization is exerting increasing pressure on natural ecosystems, which can no longer play their regulatory role (microclimate, drinking water supply, flood reduction, food security, etc.).
