We are never too young to start protecting our planet

Climate change is what most of us perceive as the top global threat, and the dangers it poses affect present and future generations alike.  How global warming is threatening the planet has been a theme in children’s books for all ages for some time.   How everyone, especially today’s youth, can make a difference to the future of the world by changing their everyday habits is the message of FAO’s latest Activity Book, released to celebrate this year’s World Food Day theme: Climate is changing. Food and agriculture must too. Take a look at these seven different areas related to food and agriculture where change needs to happen. If you are a parent, an educator, a student or simply care about the issue, you can encourage children to pick some of the actions below and try to make a difference.
