The High-level Segment will be the final session of the International Symposium on Agricultural Innovation for Family Farmers. It will take place 11.30-13.30 in the Plenary Hall on 23 November.
The high-level participants will intervene for 10 to 15 minutes each. They are expected to share with the audience what are the key ongoing initiatives in their country or region regarding agricultural innovation.
They are also expected to give their reflections on what are the key messages that they will take home from the Symposium, which will allow their country or region to accelerate the pace of innovation to overcome the challenges of the 21st century.
The session will be webcast live and have interpretation in the six UN official languages (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, and Spanish). The recording of the session will be made available on the FAO website.
Chris Burns will moderate the session.
