Launch of the FAO guide on mpox case detection in animals

FAO will host a global webinar on 18 February 2026, 13:00 -14:30 CET, to officially launch the Mpox case detection in animals - A guide to epidemiological and laboratory investigations, a new technical resource designed to strengthen early detection and response to mpox at the human-animal-environmental interface. Participants will gain practical knowledge on mpox risks at the human–animal–environment interface, tools for investigation and outbreak response, and insights into FAO’s broader efforts to strengthen One Health capacities for pandemic prevention and preparedness.
