Speakers' Corner is an opportunity to showcase accepted voluntary papers and posters submitted to the XIV World Forestry Congress (WFC) which are not being presented in other sessions.

The authors of accepted submissions who are already registered to attend the Congress are encouraged to sign up by 23 August 2015 for one of several Speakers' Corner sessions offered during the WFC. These will be offered in all the official Congress languages: English, French and Spanish.

Speakers' Corner sessions will take place during the afternoon Side Events sessions (12:45-14:15) on Tuesday 8 September to Friday 11 September. Each session will be moderated and accommodate 10 presenters. Each speaker will have 3 minutes to present the objectives, results and wider implications of their work; and a Q&A session will allow the audience to interact with the presenters and gain further insight.

Spaces are limited, so please sign-up for the Speakers' Corner by 23 August 2015. Please note that sign-up is restricted to authors who:

1. Have received confirmation that their voluntary submission has been accepted by the WFC;
2. Have already registered to attend the Congress; and
3. Are not confirmed to present in other sessions of the Congress.

Please note there is no funding available for participation in the Speakers’ Corner. This opportunity is reserved for voluntary authors who have already confirmed their attendance at the Congress.

Selected speakers will receive a confirmation email with their session date, time, location and moderator.
