FAO Group visits
FAO offers three different tours: in-person tours at FAO headquarters in Rome, online tours, and in-person visits at the G20 Green Garden in Rome. The group visit experiences are offered to visitors aged 11 and older. Each group visit lasts 1 hour and includes a Q&A session. Please note that individual tours are not currently available.

If you aren't in Rome, you can visit us online! One of our knowledgeable guides will take you on a journey. We start in North America and explore our early beginnings, then jump across the Atlantic to Rome which is now home to FAO's headquarters. Finally, we take a look at the 130 countries around the world where FAO transforms knowledge into action! All online tours are organized on Zoom.

Have you heard of the 17 Sustainable Developments Goals (SDGs)? Situated in Rome’s famous Appia Antica Park, the G20 Green Garden invites you to explore them while reflecting on the future of our planet and discovering how you can take action. The life-size installation of the SDG cubes sprawled across the park shows how you can be the change. The tour includes an introduction to FAO’s mandate and history, the 17 global goals and their relationship with the work carried out by FAO.
