About FAO Grievance Mechanisms
FAO in Afghanistan upholds accountability and transparency in its programmes. The Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM) and Complaints & Feedback Mechanism (CFM) offer multiple channels for beneficiaries to voice concerns, report grievances, and share feedback, ensuring fair and timely resolution.
How to Submit a Complaint or Feedback:

- AWAAZ Afghanistan: Toll-free service (410), available daily from 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Email: [email protected]
- Complaint Boxes: Available at distribution points
- In-Person: Report to FAO’s MEAL staff, field monitors, or implementing partners
All submissions are handled confidentially, with the option to remain anonymous. FAO strictly prohibits retaliation against complainants. Any threats or discrimination should be reported immediately.
