The aims of IAS are 1-attainment of scientific and cultural independence, 2- Development of science and technologies, 3- Encouragement of the spirit of research, and promotion of the State’s scientific and cultural levels, 4- Access to the latest scientific findings, and innovations through teamwork, and absorbing, encouraging, and supporting eminent researchers and scholars.
The IAS has several departments. One of these departments is the Department of Agricultural Sciences. This Department publishes the journal namely the Strategic Research Journal of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources with ISSN: 2423-4745. This journal is published biannually in the Farsi language with an English summary published since 2016.
