Universidad Zamorano

The Escuela Agrícola Panamericana, Zamorano, in Honduras, has recently joined the Agricultural Science and Technology International System – AGRIS of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). This collaboration adds a significant Central American dimension to the expanding AGRIS data provider network.

The institution specializes in the transformation of agricultural products, efficient resource management, and environmental conservation.

This development marks Zamorano University as the second data provider from Honduras to affiliate with the AGRIS Network, sharing its repository, including the Ceiba Scientific Journal, comprising 6,746 records. These resources are accessible via the AGRIS database through this link: https://agris.fao.org/es.

We extend a heartfelt welcome to Zamorano University, set to augment the AGRIS network with its commitment and expertise in agriculture and food science in Central America. This partnership reflects FAO's core principles of international collaboration and its vision to foster more productive, sustainable, and resilient agri-food systems.
