The Universidad de Huánuco is a private university located in the city of Huánuco, Peru. It was founded in 1984, initially under the name ‘Universidad Privada Víctor Andrés Belaúnde’, changing its name five years later to ‘Universidad Privada de Huánuco’. On 6 June 2019, the Superintendencia Nacional de Educación Superior Universitaria (Sunedu) granted institutional licensing to this university.
