The Biotechnology Society of Nigeria (BSN) is a non-profit organization founded on 11 August 1981 Recognized as an independent body of experts by academic Societies and the Government. The Biotechnology Society of Nigeria (BSN) undertakes the function of encouraging the exchange of ideas among scientists of different disciplines on the concept and application of biotechnology.
The Society is actively involved with research and development in the Biotechnology sector both locally and globally. Biotechnology Society of Nigeria, the parent body of Biotechnology activities both for private and government sectors undergoes active research and development in the area of development of Biotechnology tools and resources. We are actively engaged with the development of Biotechnology tools relevant to the health and public sector
