The Brazilian Society of Ethnobiology and Ethnoecology (Sociedade Brasileira de Etnobiologia e Etnoecologia, or SBEE) is a scientific and professional organization in Brazil dedicated to the study of the relationships between human societies and their natural environments. The society focuses on traditional ecological knowledge, the use of biological resources, cultural practices, and sustainable management of ecosystems. SBEE promotes research, education, and dissemination of knowledge in ethnobiology and ethnoecology through conferences, workshops, publications, and collaboration with academic and indigenous communities.
