The Fisheries Processing Industries Directorate (Direction des Industries de Transformation de la Pêche, DITP) is a governmental directorate within the Ministry of Fisheries and Maritime Economy of the Republic of Senegal. The Direction des Industries de Transformation de la Pêche (DITP) is responsible for developing and implementing the State’s policy on processing, quality control, inspection and sanitary certification of fishery and aquaculture products, including those destined for export or import, ensuring compliance with technical and health standards, and supporting the competitiveness and industrial transformation of the Senegalese fishing sector. The Fisheries Processing Industries Directorate (Direction des Industries de Transformation de la Pêche) also works through divisions covering inspection and certification, product valorisation, legislation and standardisation, and maintains partnerships and programmes aimed at strengthening the fisheries processing industry and meeting national and international market requirements.
