The National Institute of Marine Sciences and Technologies (Institut National des Sciences et Technologies de la Mer, INSTM) is a public research institute in Tunisia under the authority of the Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources and Fisheries. The Institut National des Sciences et Technologies de la Mer (INSTM) conducts scientific and technological research related to the marine environment and its resources, including fisheries, aquaculture, marine technologies, oceanography, marine biodiversity, and marine environmental protection. The mission of the National Institute of Marine Sciences and Technologies (Institut National des Sciences et Technologies de la Mer) includes carrying out research programs, participating in national and international marine science networks, providing scientific expertise to policymakers and professionals, and promoting sustainable development and awareness of marine ecosystems and their biodiversity in Tunisia.
