The Public Institute for Aquaculture and Fisheries Research (Instituto Público de Investigación de Acuicultura y Pesca – IPIAP) is a public research institution located in Guayaquil. The IPIAP conducts scientific research, innovation, and technical development in aquaculture and fisheries, aiming to improve productivity, sustainability, and management of aquatic resources in Ecuador.
