Universidad Técnica de Ambato (UTA) is an Ecuadorian public university, located in the province of Tungurahua, whose headquarters is the city of Ambato. It is one of the most important universities in central Ecuador and in the city of Ambato. Since 2012 it has been part of the Ecuadorian Network of Universities for Research and Postgraduate Studies.
