The Technical University of Manabí, UTM, is a public institution of higher education located in the city of Portoviejo, Manabí (Ecuador). Its three substantive functions are: scientific research, academia and links with society; it intervenes with quality in all spheres and sectors, both public and private, through the support of students, teachers and authorities. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate studies in various specialities and modalities.
