Universidade do Contestado (UnC) is a community-based higher education institution located in the state of Santa Catarina, Brazil. Officially founded in 1997, it was formed through the merger of several local educational foundations—FEARPE, FUNPLOC, FEAUC, FEPLAC, and FUNORTE—spanning cities like Caçador, Canoinhas, Concórdia, Curitibanos, and Mafra.
