All-Russian Research Institute of the Dairy Industry (VNIMI)

The All-Russian Dairy Research Institute (VNIMI);Всероссийский научно-исследовательский институт молочной промышленности) established in 1929, is the leading sectoral scientific organization, combining fundamental and applied research in the production and processing of dairy products.
The Institute is the legal successor of the All-Union Scientific Research Institute of the Dairy Industry, which was established in accordance with the order of the People's Commissariat of Internal and Foreign Trade of the USSR dated December 29, 1929 (No. 187).
