WaPOR v.3 Sub-national level datasets for the Najaf area in Iraq

WaPOR-3 is a FAO’s portal monitoring water productivity through open access of remotely sensed derived data, assists countries in monitoring water productivity, identifying water productivity gaps, proposing solutions to reduce these gaps and contributing to a sustainable increase of agricultural production.
16 new datasets have been added to the portal covering the Najaf governorate in Iraq. These datasets provide information on actual evapotranspiration, evaporation, transpiration, interception, net primary production, total biomass production, net biomass water productivity, gross biomass water productivity, relative root zone soil moisture and quality of normalized difference vegetation index.
