Launch of the Climate Change Survey Among National Focal Points to the Commission

The Commission, at its 19th Regular Session, reviewed and simplified a voluntary questionnaire on genetic resources for food and agriculture (GRFA) and climate change. It requested the Secretariat to finalize and subsequently circulate it to all National Focal Points to the Commission for them to coordinate national consultations and subsequent submissions, with a view to establishing a baseline of national responses for all sectors of GRFA. As requested by the Commission, the Secretariat finalized the questionnaire and made adjustments necessary to bring it into the online format. 

National Focal Points to the Commission are encouraged to use information from a wide range of sources, including information provided by National Focal Points for the different sectors of GRFA, when completing the questionnaire. 

National Focal Point to the Commission are invited to complete the questionnaire by 31 May 2024.
