In food security and agricultural development, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) play a crucial role in supporting vulnerable populations. However, they often face significant challenges in accessing financial resources, with women-owned businesses particularly struggling to secure credit and liquidity, making them more vulnerable to market disruptions. Addressing the gender gap in agriculture is vital. Ensuring food security and nutrition for all involves complex, interrelated challenges – and close partnerships with a full spectrum of entities.
