The Regional Office of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) for Latin America and the Caribbean signed an agreement with the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA) to promote joint efforts in support of cooperativism in the region. The agreement was signed by FAO Assistant Director-General and Regional Representative Mario Lubetkin, and the Regional Director of Cooperatives of the Americas, Danilo Salerno.
