The Data Lab Trends analyses the popularity of search queries over the articles gathered from media outlets across various countries and languages on topics related to food security and nutrition, and agrifood system transformation. With this tool, the user can search for any topic to visualize its trend and what is the sentiment on it over time and its geographic distribution. This tool complements our "Topics Explorer", but here the user is free to decide which specific query to make. For instance, to check what is being said in the news on exports of an essential food product, you can type "exports wheat" or a similar variation. Note that the sentiment indicator goes from 0 (very negative) to 100 (very positive), being 50 a neutral sentiment.
