FAO ECTAD Viet Nam has worked closely with Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) to develop the Viet Nam Information Animal Health System (VAHIS). The system aims at quick response to animal disease outbreaks, minimize economic loss and public health threats. It therefore helps to build trust in Viet Nam livestock products to both domestic and global consumers in the long run.
