The AGROMIX project aims to deliver participatory research to drive the transition to a resilient and efficient land use in Europe. It focuses on practical agroecological solutions for farm and land management and related value chains. In May 2022 the project attended the European Agroforestry Fenderation (EURAF) conference held in Nuoro, Sardinia (Italy) and had the chance to explore more the situation of agroforestry in Sardinia. This video presents an overview of agroforestry situation in the insland and also presents Nanni Caratzu, a farmer that manages a 120-hectare farm in central Sardinia practicing livestock grazing in forests and explain how this prevents wildfire episodes.
