The beneficiary of this project used the financial support for purchasing mobile equipment for producing fruit juice which was going to be directly used in the orchards of producers, allowing the fruit processing without needing to transport them to processors. This way, additional expenses were avoided. The climate in the region where the project was implemented is favourable for cultivating fruit, especially apples and pears, but in many private gardens most often they were wasted. Very few possessors of fruit trees were interested of collecting their fruit and transporting them for processing. The main objective of the project was using the local fruit production generating thus incomes for the community and employment opportunity in the region.
