I am working on:
I am currently working on strengthening nutrition governance, food security, and social accountability through policy advocacy, research, and multi-sectoral collaboration. My focus is on empowering community based organisations, women’s groups, adolescent/youth groups and marginalized communities to enhance inclusive governance and sustainable development, particularly contributing to implement Nepal’s 16th Periodic Plan, Agriculture/ Multi-Sector Nutrition Plan (MSNP-3) along with educational development plan (SESP) among others.
I hold Master of Science in Statistics ( M.Sc), an agro-statistician, demographer, researcher, human rights defender, civil rights and development activist with over 25 years of experience in food security, nutrition, education, climate resilience, and governance. As a Senior Program Manager at Rural Reconstruction Nepal (RRN), I have led diverse community-based initiatives across Nepal, advocating for policy reforms and social accountability. With expertise in agricultural statistics, rural development, and evidence-based advocacy, I have collaborated with national and international agencies to drive impactful, inclusive, and sustainable development solutions.
