I have more than 20 years’ experience working on biodiversity issues in the Office of Environment under the Vice President’s Office in Tanzania. My main responsibility is to develop and coordinate the implementation of biodiversity public awareness program in the country. From those initiatives, biodiversity issues mainstreamed in the developmental plans of various sectors such as agriculture, wild life, fisheries, forests, lands as well as livestock. Personally, I’m willing and enjoying to work with biodiversity public awareness activities because its impacts can be seen within societal wellbeing and their environment. I normally appreciate to learn new skills and new environment.    Since I’m eager to learn new things I listen to others patiently, therefore I enjoy working with a group of people and I can also perform better on my own if needed. I have good listening and communication skills. I have an innovative mind and I am always ready to address new challenges.

MOTIVE:

To assist communities to understand the importance and biodiversity issues and motivate them on how to use them sustainably. To expose communities into sustainable life, means making an earth to be a better place to live healthy, happy and peacefully.
