FAO Policy Portal
FAO is committed to strengthening its engagement and impact at policy level in order to meet the challenges presented by the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and within our own strategic framework.
The FAO policy portal provides a gateway to FAO policy and governance work on the many critical issues facing food and agriculture.
It offers FAORs, Members, partners, and stakeholders access to a whole host of policy-related material, including policy messages, policy examples and policy experts.
The portal is the result of a broad collaboration involving policy specialists from around the Organization. It has been designed to advance national capacities, and to support policy practitioners at country, sub-regional and regional levels to achieve and strengthen national ownership of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Most importantly, the portal bridges all policy efforts that directly support food and agricultural policies.
