I was reading thoroughly the MSPs V0 draft and I must congratulate the authors for its wide scope and appropriate actions. I am afraid I have no competence on the four main Sections and only I would make a comment on:
- 2.4 Action-oriented cluster- crop improvement. I would refer about my previous report on lysine genetically enriched cereals.
- 2.42 Food Delivery. I would suggest establishing a nutritional control in the pediatric population by evaluation of BMI (Z-score) before and after 8-24 weeks the subsidized food program was launched in the area.. Even a pilot study will give you an early feedback. (Box 3 SUN probably stresses this kind of control).
From my medical point of view this MSPs initiative is a firm step against the four Malnutrition forms.
