Food Systems Transformation Pathways
This 1-hour information session on the GEF-8 Food Systems Integrated Program (FS-IP) is organized to begin building a community of countries engaged in the program and to update countries on the process and coming milestones with the FS-IP.
This session will (i) provide updates on the approval of the FS-IP in the next GEF Council meeting in January 2024, and (ii) provide information on activities that FAO and IFAD are planning for the second semester of 2023 on the FS-IP. The information session is centered on country dialogue, information sharing, and fostering collaboration.
The session will also touch upon a new call for Expressions of Interest (EOI) that closes on 8 September 2023. The information session will provide information on the EOI process for countries interested in joining the FS-IP.
