A technical training on using geospatial technologies, mapping and delineating intervention areas for the Forest and Farm Facility (FFF) in Ghana will be organized on 15 November 2022. Representatives from forest and farm producer organizations (FFPOs) and FAO partner organizations in Ghana are expected to participate in the training. The training will include presentations, question-and-answer sessions, as well as hands-on practices and open discussions. The training is aimed at strengthening capacity in geospatial monitoring of FFF interventions and is a part of ongoing efforts to enhance GIS/RS capacity of FFPOs and partner organizations. Geospatial data, including metadata, developed from this training are expected to contribute to operationalizing a monitoring system to track progress of the FFF efforts in Ghana.
