In the framework of the 50x2030 Initiative, FAO partners with Guinea to implement an annual integrated agricultural survey programme designed to ensure the production and dissemination of essential, timely, and high-quality agricultural data that meets the country's needs and aligns with key national development objectives.
In collaboration with the National Agency for Agriculture and Food Statistics (Agence nationale des statistiques agricoles et alimentaires - ANASA), the National Institute of Statistics (Institut national de la statistique de Guinée), and the relevant Ministries, a survey programme in line with the Agricultural Integrated Survey programme of the 50x2030 survey model covering the period 2023-2028 has been developed for this purpose.
In 2024, the annual agricultural survey (core module) will be complemented by crop yield and farm loss measurements, as well as specific modules on the environment (PME module) and livestock. A survey on non-standard units of measures is also under preparation.
FAO has started providing technical support for the preparation of the survey tools to ensure an effective data collection activity.
