Agricultural integrated survey programme (AGRISurvey)

Madagascar

Under the umbrella of the 50x2030 Initiative, FAO is providing technical support to Madagascar, for the implementation of the 2024 Annual Agricultural Survey (AAS).

In preparation for the survey activities, FAO supports the training of data collectors, ensuring they are fully equipped with the skills and knowledge required for accurate and efficient data collection. This includes finalizing key data collection tools, such as the Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI) system, the enumerator manual, and the survey questionnaire.

Additionally, the programme ensures that a robust system for monitoring and ensuring the quality of the data collected throughout the survey process is established.
