Welcome to the AIM4Forests newsletter!

AIM4Forests is a five-year initiative, supported by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, that strengthens forest monitoring through modern technologies — including remote sensing, artificial intelligence, and space data.

The initiative works with governments, Indigenous Peoples, and smallholders to build capacities and ensure transparent, reliable forest data for informed decision-making, forest mitigation, ecosystem restoration, and sustainable commodity supply chains. AIM4Forests collaborates with 16 countries across three regions to strengthen national forest monitoring systems and ensure high-integrity measurement, reporting and verification (MRV).
